Day 01: Pick up from Srinagar Airport
Our service starts with your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be met our representative at the Srinagar Airport and transfers you to Srinagar Houseboat (Srinagar is also known as “PARADISE ON EARTH”). After having rest in the houseboat for an hour. You can go to see vegetable and floating market in Dal Lake known for its beautiful Kashmir Handicrafts, unique in the World. Overnight stay in Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 02: Srinagar local
After Breakfast, Check out and Go to Factory Shop for Shopping (1.00 Hour). Later Shikara Ride:- (2 Hours) which includes (i) Nehru Park (ii) bathing Boat (iii) Lotus Lake (iv) Char Chinari. Also visit Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Garden (Adobe of Pleasure). Built by Asif Khan Brother-in-law of Emperor Jehangir in 1632 AD and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountain in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 to 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet weaving Factory. Later check into the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.
Day 03: Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar
After Breakfast, Full day Excursion tour to Sonamarg, which means ‘Meadow of Gold’, has, as its backdrop snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. According to the legend, somewhere in the valley, there is a well whose water turns any substance into gold. This is something means “Meadow of Gold’’.
Sonamarg lies in Sindh valley stream with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajiwas glacier and sledge riding on snow. Laterreturn to Srinagar.Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.
Day 04: Srinagar – Yusmarg – Srinagar
After Breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Yusmarg. Yusmarg is a small meadow set in the heart of mountains to the south-west of Srinagar. It is an ideal picnic spot and the Nilnag Lake can be visited from here. A two hour drive from Srinagar (47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. Laterreturn to Srinagar.Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.
Day 05: Srinagar -Gulmarg
After Breakfast. Check out from Hotel and Transfer to Gulmarg. Gulmarg -At an amazing altitude of 2730 meters above sea level the hill resort has a gently sloping topography. Gulmarg is 57 km southwest from the capital city of Srinagar. The gorgeous hill resort of Gulmarg is dotted with sites of interest for the tourists. Khilanmarg is the spot for skiing in winters. You must enjoy the views of the Kashmir valley and the Himalayan range from Khilanmarg. It takes a couple of hours by pony, to reach Khilanmarg as it is slightly longer on foot.Dinner and overnight stay in Gulmarg Hotel.
Day 06: Gulmarg
After Breakfast, Day free for leisure or you can go to khilanmarg.Evening returns back to Gulmarg. Dinner and overnight stay in Gulmarg Hotel.
Day 07: Gulmarg- Pahalgam
After Breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, Pahalgam Situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River, Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Now it is Kashmir’s premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25°C. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains. Dinner and Overnight stay in Pahalgam Hotel.
Day 08: Pahalgam– Srinagar
After breakfast, check out from Hotel and transfer to Srinagar. Check into the Hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure or can relax at the Hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.
Day 09: Srinagar – Manasbal Lake – Srinagar
Manasbal Lake is located about 30 km north of Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir State. It has predominantly rural surroundings with three villages, Kondabal, Jarokbal and Gratbal overlooking the lake. Manasbal is considered as the ‘supreme gem of all Kashmir lakes’ with lotus (Nelumbonucifera) nowhere more abundant or beautiful than on the margins of this lake during July and August. It is the deepest lake of Kashmir valley and perhaps the only one that develops stable summer stratification. Manasbal is classified as warm monomictic lake and circulates once in a year for a short time. The other lakes in the region either have weak stratification or are polymictic. Close to the northern shore are the ruins of a fort which was built in 17th century bya Moghul king to cater the needs of caravans that used to travel from Punjab to Srinagar. On the south, overlooking the lake is a hillock-Ahtung which is used for limestone extraction. The eastern part is mainly mountainous and towards the north is an elevated plateau known as ‘Karewa’ consisting of lacustrine, fluviatile and loessic deposits. After breakfast, check out from Hotel and take a transfer to your onward journey with sweet and unforgettable memories.
