Rajamalai National Park (Eravikulum National Park) is situated in Idduki, the bordering district of Kerela and Tamil Nadu. Some of the rare animal species can be found here is, Elephant, Nilgiri langur, Nilgiri marten, small-clawed otter and a rare tiger or leopard and the Nilgiri wood pigeon etc.

Top Station  is house of some of the highest tea plantation in India. Located at a distance of 41km from Munnar and is at an altitude of 1700 meters. Later return back to the hotel in time. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Munnar .

 

Day 04 : Munnar to Thekkady

After breakfast , move to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs). Check into Hotel at Thekkady.

Located near the border town of Kerela and Tamil Nadu called Kumily,  Located around 4000ft above sea level.  Thekkady is about 257 km or 160 miles from Trivandrum. After refreshing , visit to Periyar National Park  , Periyar Tiger Reserve.

Day 05: Thekkady to Alleppey

Thiruvallam Parashurama Temple  is located almost 12 kilometers away from Kovalam. This is perhaps the only temple of the Hindus that is dedicated to Parashurama. The rock island on which the Vivekananda Rock Memorial is towered is the very place where Swami Vivekananda had spent the three days of self awakening.

Suchindrum a famous Hindu pilgrim destination is situated nearly 15 kilometers from Kanyakumari town in Kanyakumari District. ‘Thanumalayan Temple’, the most important shrine for both Shaivaites and Vaishnavites is the most renowned religious hub and the icon of the town of Suchindrum. The temple houses the three deities of Hindu Trinity; Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh together.

Kumarakom is a tourist village and in fact a cluster of little beautiful islands on the eastern banks of the Vembanadu Lake. It is 15 kilometers away from Kottyam town. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake near the celebrated Kumarakom Backwaters is a beloved haunt of migratory birds and a heaven for the ornithologists. Spread over an extensive area of 14 acres on the southern banks of a river named Kavanar, this bird sanctuary has a well laid down paths that lead us around. Built in blue and red granite, this memorial is spread over the area of 6 acres. It is perched at the height of 17 meters on a rocky island. It is said that the endeavors of 650 men for nearly 2081 days took to complete this marvel of architecture. The rock island on which the Vivekananda Rock Memorial is towered is the very place where Swami Vivekananda had spent the three days of self awakening.

Suchindrum a famous Hindu pilgrim destination is situated nearly 15 kilometers from Kanyakumari town in Kanyakumari District. ‘Thanumalayan Temple’, the most important shrine for both Shaivaites and Vaishnavites is the most renowned religious hub and the icon of the town of Suchindrum. The temple houses the three deities of Hindu Trinity; Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh together.
